Dear Friends,

There’s a famous African saying which states: ‘It takes a village to raise a child’…
at Masterpeace Academy, ‘We are the village”, together we are creating a sustainable community and raising up master jewellers of the future in a culturally relevant and diverse setting.

I would like to take this opportunity to BIG UP our awesome team of jewellery professionals who are serving beyond the call to make this vision a reality.

Meet our Team:

Forward Together:

Since our doors opened in March 2021, 24 students have attended our programs including six on our current Kick – Start program. Kick Start is a British Government initiative where trainees earn national minimum wage for 25 hours per week for a period of six months. This represents a golden opportunity for students to earn whilst they learn. The impact of your continued support on the lives of these young people has been immeasurable. They have: Learned new skills, grown in confidence, been empowered to take the next steps into the jewellery trade. Doors have been opened, connections made and most of our trainees are now in employment within the British Jewellery trade. Together we are continuing to ‘make jewellery change lives’ and I am sure that the best is yet to come!

I am very pleased to announce that together we have reached another milestone. We have completed the very stringent SQA (Scottish Qualifications Agency) ‘approved centre. process and we are now able to offer accredited training in jewellery manufacturing up to level 5 (under graduate level) to our future students. No one said it would be easy, but we want to offer the very best possible training, standards and experience to our trainees so the arduous process over an intensive six months was definitely worth it!

Thank you to our formidable team for your hard work, dedication and unwavering commitment to this cause. I am blessed and thankful to be surrounded by so much talent, positivity and legendary skill, together we are creating legacy as we impart to the next generation of Master Jewellers.

We are so so grateful to all of our friends and supporters. With special thanks and appreciation to:

official sponsors of our kick Start program
and to:

who made it possible for us to embark on a second kickstart program offering paid employment and skills training to our current six trainees through their Global Majority Fund.
