We we pleased to announce that our level 3 Diploma in Jewellery Manufacture will commence in October 2022.
Who should apply?
Our culturally relevant courses are aimed at but not restricted to youth from Global Majority backgrounds which are currently underrepresented in the British Jewellery Trade. People with disabilities are also invited to apply.
No previous experience in required, however applicants should have a keen interest in art/craft/creativity and design.
We aim to: create access, remove barriers to entry, forge connections and to make our industry relevant and accessible to all.
What you will learn:
This is a practical hands on approach where you will learn a wide range of traditional and futuristic skills including: Saw piercing, filing, forming jewellery from metal and wax, enamelling, polishing, stone setting and computer aided design.
When will training commence:
Our level 3 diploma will commence in October 2022.
Where will training take place:
Training will take place at our fully equipped workshops in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham U.K.
