At MasterPeace Academy we believe The Children are the future and it was such a joy to host a group of local school children at our workshops recently…
It was an impromptu visit… they had set out to visit the museum of the jewellery quarter and were so disappointed when they found it closed so we invited them to tour our training workshops which are directly opposite the museum.
They were so delighted to see real jewellery being made and our trainees did a great job in demonstrating our processes.
We hope to work more with local schools in the near future, to open doors for the next generation of master jewellers particularly those who might otherwise face systemic barriers to entry to the British Jewellery Trade. Our aim is to make Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter more relevant and accessible to youth of the surrounding communities.

10.00: Exhibition Opens with Networking, meet the artists and tour of exhibition.
12.00 pm light refreshments served.
Come along to meet our trainees and view unique and contempory works
created at our workshops.

local employers are invited to meet our trainees who are seeking work experience and career opportunities.
11.00am Tour of exhibition and networking.

AWARDS DAY: Saturday September 10th:
Awards day program:
10.00 am: Meet the artists, tribal face painting, jewellery/art
showcase.
1.00pm: Cold Caribbean Buffet and networking
2.00pm: Awards
3.30pm: Silent auction results and raffle
4.30pm: Exhibition Closes

All art & jewellery items are for sale with proceeds to MasterPeace Academy, students and RBSA gallery.
We look forward to welcoming you to this special event as we celebrate our first anniversary and acknowledge the achievements of our trainees.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR OUR LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN JEWELLERY MANUFACTURE
I am pleased to announce that applications are now open for our level 3 diploma in Jewellery manufacture which will run from October 2022 – July 2023. This is an internationally recognised qualification, fully accredited by SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority).
